Two performances same day at 5:30pm and 8:00pm, in the Larry Sitsky Recital Room at the ANU School of Music.
As the best months for viewing the Southern Aurora come to an end, the programme turns north to the Aurora Borealis and largely Northern-themed music. Featured composers include Ola Gjeilo, Ēriks Ešenvalds, Alice Chance, John Hearne, Kate Rusby, Kjell Flem, Björk, Anna Thorvaldsdóttir (an Icelandic psalm setting), Sebastian Allen (the Chorale's Emerging Composer in Residence) and Pat Baker, alongside Veljo Tormis's settings of "Autumn Landscapes".
Individual work titles beyond the Tormis had not been published at the time of listing. Parking near the School of Music is generally easy on a Sunday.
