Soloists: Sally Walker (flute), Anthony Smith (piano)

An afternoon of poetic and uplifting music inspired by place, landscape, travel and the natural world. Centrepiece is the world premiere of "Arboretum", a new CCS commission for choir, flute and piano with words and music by Music Director Dan Walker. Guest flautist Sally Walker joins the choir alongside CCS répétiteur Anthony Smith (piano), conducted by Dan Walker. The remainder of the programme was announced as works by Sally Whitwell, Anton Bruckner, Eric Whitacre, Lili Boulanger, Edward Elgar and Arthur Sullivan, with individual titles not yet published. Presented as a double bill: a cappella ensemble The Australian Voices perform at the same venue at 7.30pm the same evening, with Wanderlust ticket holders offered a 50% discount code via Humanitix.
