The second movement abounds in references to Elgar's *Nimrod* (a favourite of National Music Camp founder John Bishop); the third movement quotes Berlioz's *Harold in Italy* and resolves Harold's journey in a gentle C major. A cameo appearance from Tubby the Tuba in the first movement nods to Danny Kaye. Conducted by the composer.",
